Luke 'Ming' Flanagan is an Irish independent politician and Member of the European Parliament (MEP) for the Midlands–North-West constituency. He is Ireland’s most renowned cannabis activist and has brought forward the Cannabis Regulation Bill 2013.

Dr. Garrett McGovern
Working as a GP specialising in addiction specialist since 1998 and has extensive experience of treating alcohol and drug addiction. Garrett holds a Masters degree in Clinical Addiction from the National Addiction Centre, King's College London. He is a founder member of the subcommittee for Continuing Medical Education for GPs specialising in substance abuse and has a huge interest in the stigma associated with addiction.
Dr Cathal Ó Súiliobháin LRCPI LRCSI LMCC MSc
Dr Cathal Ó Súiliobháin qualified as a medical doctor from the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, 1973. He then spent 20 years working as a Family Doctor in Canada, first in Newfoundland and then in Quebéc. Following the experience in Canada he returned to Ireland in 1994 to work in General Practice (GP) and addiction treatment. He also trained in the National Drug Treatment Centre Dublin. He then became a General Practitioner Specialized in Substance Abuse (GPSSA) in the Health Service Executive from 1996 to 1998. He then got appointed GP Coordinator East Coast Area Addiction Service in 1998 where he oversaw the introduction of the Methadone Protocol Treatment scheme in that area. Dr Cathal Obtained a Masters in Drug and Alcohol Policy Trinity College Dublin in the year 2000. Furthermore he is Involved in teaching addiction treatment to GPs both in the Irish College of General Practitioners and in the HSE Addiction Service.
Former co-leader of Legalise Cannabis Ireland. Organised protest in Dublin in 2013 where 2000 plus people attended. Consider myself as a politically minded activist.
